On the 8-10 of June 2016 a delegation of Vanderbilt University, USA, visited our Institute. The teacher of Russian David Johnson and six of his students were our guests. Murom students showed our institute, its museum and classrooms to the Americans and told about their life and studies. The guests from overseas showed us the website of the University and told about themselves. Then we all worked together at the creation of teaching materials for the English classes. According to the good tradition we invited our guests to a boat trip along the Oka-river and an excursion about the ancient town of Murom. A real submersion into Russian culture took place at the House of Folk Art.

The students of both countries found many common topics for discussion.

Good friendly relationship was established and we were sorry to part so soon.

We believe, that our beautiful relationship and annual meeting will continue successfully.
